Bennett graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a degree in accounting and later earned an MBA from American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). After his licensure as a Certified Public Accountant, he started his career in 1992 with J.C. Bradford & Co. and is now an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. Bennett has more than 30 years’ experience giving financial advice.
As a native of Putnam County, Bennett grew up on the family’s cattle farm and is now the sixth generation to own that land. Bennett and his wife, Kristi, are now empty nesters after raising four daughters. Bennett’s hobbies include flying his 1968 Cherokee, reading, and traveling to off-the-beaten-path locations.

Michelle is a valued team member at MapleCross Wealth Management. She earned her BS in business administration from Tennessee Tech University and began her career in the financial services industry in 1995. An Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, she also is a wealth advisor at MapleCross and holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation, which allows her to master the process of setting up and maintaining retirement plans for businesses. Michelle is an independent advisor dedicated to helping clients meet their financial goals through investment consulting and financial planning. She helps educate clients in the planning process, allowing them to make informed decisions. Her goal is for clients to feel prepared and confident in their financial decisions for many years. Michelle believes in building long term-relationships by taking the time to understand each client personally. She strives to help her clients meet the demands, desires, and needs in a continually changing economic environment.
Michelle stays very active outside of the office. She sings in the choir at her church, participates in Habitat for Humanity’s Cooking on the Square, and volunteers her time for various local missions. She is a very active parent at Highland Rim Academy, where she serves on the board. Michelle is a graduate of Leadership Putnam, Cookeville Citizens Police Academy, and Cookeville Citizens Fire Academy, and she has served on the Friends of Genesis House board.
In her spare time, Michelle is an avid bookworm, and she loves to travel. Some of her favorite destinations are Greece, New York City, and anywhere with her RV and a campfire. She and her husband, Tony, have a daughter in middle school and they have three dogs. The Whiteaker family enjoys adventure and loves participating in mud runs, hiking, shooting, and camping together.
Sandy has more than 34 years' experience in client services. She is our client services specialist and the first person you meet when you come to our office. She is dedicated to making your experience at MapleCross seamless. She started working in the financial industry in 2009 and is here to handle your financial needs promptly and meticulously. Sandy handles client concerns, new accounts, data entry, money requests, account transfers, retirement plan/pension plan rollovers, client events, helps prepare client meetings, and updates the website. She has a positive attitude and is committed to make your experience with MapleCross excellent.
Sandy and her husband, Joe, have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. She loves being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. In 2015, they started building their dream home on 30 acres above Center Hill Lake. They moved into their log cabin in 2016 and continue to personalize it. They raise chickens and have a garden from which she cans the fruit and vegetables. She and Joe make their own wine from the blackberries in their garden. She enjoys fishing, traveling, camping, and cooking for her family. Her grandchildren call her "Ma." She takes special pleasure in spending time with each of them.
Ginger is our office operations manager and a valuable member of our team. She joined us in 2011 and has a BS in finance from Tennessee Tech University. She has more than eight years’ experience in the banking industry. She keeps the office running smoothly with her attention to detail, her dependability, and friendly personality. Ginger prepares for client meetings, does the planning for our client events, and assists in product research. She helps our clients with online access to their accounts, money requests, scheduling for the advisors, and client communications. She is our office "go to" for help of any kind because she is dedicated to her job—and diligent in doing it right.
Ginger recently became Life & Health Insurance licensed for Tennessee.
Ginger and her husband, Kurt, have two children. She enjoys baking, reading, and camping with her family. She has a fondness for sweets and is always bringing something she has baked for her coworkers to enjoy.
